I'm a Junior Software Engineer based in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, with a strong focus on building clean, maintainable web and mobile applications. My core stack is Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, and I also enjoy creating mobile experiences with Flutter.
I love turning ideas into real products. Whether it's internal tooling, experimental UI, or a random idea that pops into my head, I’m happiest when I'm building things people actually use.
I completed a BSc in Computing for Industry with First-Class Honours through the Open University. I originally joined Trace First as an apprentice, where I trained directly in a commercial engineering environment.
After completing my apprenticeship and graduating, I was re-employed by Trace First as a full-time Software Engineer. Most of my work centres around modernising and extending CoreOne for Labs, a large-scale Rails application used across veterinary labs.
I'm passionate about full-stack development with Rails and JavaScript, and I love taking an idea from concept to a polished, functioning feature that feels fast and intuitive.
